Enterprise campus networking without the enterprise IT team.
Your campus network connects users, devices and applications across buildings and sites. PowerCampus manages it as a service, on Cisco Catalyst Center and SD-Access, run by Emircom NOC teams in Dubai and Riyadh. You move from command-line configuration and flat networks to policy-driven segments that Emircom operates around the clock.
What you get
Zero-trust campus fabric
SD-Access with ISE micro-segmentation replaces a flat network with policy-driven segments. Policy follows the user, not the port.
Faster fixes
Catalyst Center AI and machine learning analytics detect issues before users complain, and root-cause analytics cut troubleshooting time by 65%.
Automated firmware and compliance
Software Image Management distributes firmware, checks compliance and standardises golden images across the whole switch fleet.
Certified to run it as a service
Emircom holds Cisco Powered Campus Access certification, validated by an NSF audit, to design, deploy and manage Cisco campus networks as a managed service.
How it works
Design and deploy
We assess your current campus, design the SD-Access fabric, configure Catalyst Center and ISE, and migrate from legacy infrastructure with minimal disruption.
Manage and operate
Our NOC monitors through Catalyst Center Assurance, handles incidents from L1 to L3, manages the firmware lifecycle, processes change requests and enforces ISE policies.
Optimise and evolve
Quarterly business reviews analyse SLA performance and capacity trends, wireless surveys tune coverage, and roadmap sessions keep the campus current.
PowerCampus what is included
SD-Access fabric with ISE
Users and devices are placed in segments by identity, not by switch port. Policy follows a laptop from one building to the next.
Assurance that finds faults first
Catalyst Center tracks every client, switch and access point, and flags issues before users call. Root-cause analytics shorten each investigation.
Firmware without lost weekends
Software Image Management checks each switch against a golden image and upgrades in agreed windows, with a compliance report after every run.
Compliance templates
Policy templates map to UAE IA standards, NCA ECC-2:2024, the SAMA framework and CBUAE rules, with audit logs exported from the platform.
Wi-Fi surveyed and tuned
Perform includes an annual wireless survey and Excel a semi-annual one, with RF tuning between surveys.
Run from Dubai and Riyadh
Emircom NOC teams in the UAE and KSA operate the campus: 8×5 Sunday to Thursday on Essential, 24×7 on Perform and Excel.
PowerCampus Service Tiers
Note: All tiers include Cisco Catalyst Center management, SD-Access fabric support, ISE authentication, and automated SWIM firmware management. Essential tier provides 8×5 monitoring with L2 support. Perform tier includes full 24×7 managed operations with L1/L2/L3 support and AI-driven assurance. Excel tier adds dedicated Service Delivery Manager, custom dashboards, and full ecosystem integration (ISE + Spaces + ThousandEyes + PowerScale) for end-to-end automation. Custom government tiers available with sector-specific compliance templates and data sovereignty requirements.
A typical scenario
The situation
A private hospital group runs three buildings and about 1,800 network ports on one flat network. Infusion pumps, staff laptops and guest Wi-Fi share the same switches, so one infected device could reach patient systems. An audit has asked for segmentation, but the four-person IT team cannot redesign and run it.
What Emircom does
Emircom designs an SD-Access fabric on the Excel tier, with ISE policies for clinical devices, staff and guests. Buildings move one at a time over 14 weeks, at night. Catalyst Center gives the NOC one view of the campus, and firmware runs in agreed windows.
What changes
A compromised device can no longer reach other segments. New medical devices are onboarded by profile in minutes instead of a day of manual port work. Audit evidence comes straight from the platform, and the IT team gets back about two days a week.
Illustrative scenario based on common customer situations. It is not a named client case study.
Questions we are asked
Do we need to replace all our switches for SD-Access?
Not necessarily. SD-Access uses Cisco Catalyst 9000 switches, and many already in service can be reused. Older Catalyst 2960-X, 3650 and 3850 switches are end of sale and are usually replaced. We assess the estate and list what stays and what changes.
Can we move to SD-Access without disrupting clinics or classes?
Yes. Buildings join the fabric one at a time, in agreed night or weekend windows. Users in the building being moved see a short interruption at cut-over, and other buildings are not touched.
Which compliance frameworks does PowerCampus support?
Policy templates map to UAE NESA Information Assurance standards, KSA NCA ECC-2:2024, the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and CBUAE regulations. Audit logs and reports export from the platform for your compliance team.
Does PowerCampus work with PowerScale?
Yes. Excel includes PowerScale integration, so segments and policies extend from the campus over the WAN to your branches.
What access do we keep to Catalyst Center?
You keep read-only dashboards: standard on Essential, standard and enhanced on Perform, plus advanced analytics on Excel. Emircom holds change rights, so every change is tracked through the service desk.
