Enterprise calling without the enterprise IT team.
PowerCollab delivers Cisco Webex Calling, meetings and messaging as a fully managed service. Your team gets cloud voice and collaboration on Webex, run by Emircom’s 24/7 operations team, with regional hosting options for the UAE and KSA.
What you get
Cloud calling that replaces the PBX
Webex Calling replaces legacy PBX infrastructure with auto-attendant, hunt groups, voicemail and one dial plan for every site and remote worker.
One app for calls, meetings and messaging
The Webex App brings voice, video, messaging and file sharing into one interface, on desk phones, mobiles and laptops.
Your choice of carrier
Keep your existing telco through a Local Gateway, use Cisco Calling Plans, or choose a Cisco PSTN partner. A Local Gateway also adds survivability at critical sites.
Run by Emircom around the clock
Our NOC monitors call quality, capacity and availability in real time, handles incidents and changes, and reports monthly. You are told about a problem, not woken by one.
How it works
Design
We map your sites, users, numbers and carriers, then design the dial plans and agree the PSTN approach.
Migrate
We move users in phases, port numbers and deploy devices, so each site switches over in a planned window.
Operate
The NOC monitors the platform, manages incidents and changes, and reports every month. Quarterly reviews look for ways to improve call quality and cost.

A typical scenario
The situation
A 400-person professional services firm runs a ten-year-old on-premise PBX across offices in Dubai and Riyadh. Consultants use personal mobiles at client sites, so calls never show the firm’s number. Every new starter or desk move is a ticket to the PBX supplier, taking about five days.
What Emircom does
Emircom designs the dial plan, ports numbers office by office and rolls out the Webex App and 120 desk phones. A Local Gateway at head office keeps the existing carrier and adds survivability. Each office moves over a weekend, and the NOC monitors call quality from day one.
What changes
Consultants call from the Webex App with the firm’s number. A new starter is set up in ten minutes instead of five days. Annual voice costs fall about 30% once PBX maintenance and two server racks go, and the NOC flags quality issues before staff notice.
Illustrative scenario based on common customer situations. It is not a named client case study.
Questions we are asked
Can we keep our existing phone carrier?
Yes. PowerCollab connects your current telco through a Local Gateway, or you can move to Cisco Calling Plans or a Cisco PSTN partner. You keep control of carrier costs and contracts.
Where is Webex Calling hosted for UAE and KSA customers?
Webex Calling runs from Cisco data centres, including two in Saudi Arabia, with a local media point of presence in the UAE. Residency rules differ by regulator, so we confirm the hosting position in writing before you sign. Regulated customers can ask for Dedicated Instance with in-country hosting.
What happens to calls if our internet link fails?
A Local Gateway adds survivability at critical sites, so internal and emergency calling continue during a WAN or cloud outage. We decide which sites need it during design.
Does PowerCollab work alongside Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Webex Calling integrates with Microsoft Teams, so users can keep Teams for chat and meetings and use Webex as the phone system, calling from inside Teams.
How long does a migration take?
A two-office move of about 400 users typically takes 8 to 10 weeks from design to the last site, and number porting is the longest step. Each site moves over a weekend, so phones work on Monday morning.
Which tier should we choose?
Professional suits growing teams: 8×5 support with 24×7 cover for critical incidents, monthly reports and one core integration. Enterprise suits mission-critical operations: 24×7 support for all priorities, quarterly business reviews, a dedicated account manager and unlimited global calling.
